General Information

About the Granite Yearbook: The Granite Yearbook is funded primarily by your Student Activity Fee (SAF). This means that part of the SAF which you pay each year while attending UNH as an undergrad goes to fund the production of The Granite. With that money, The Granite staff strives to produce the best documentation of your college experience throughout the current academic year. A copy of the book will be sent to every graduating senior's permanent address at the completion of production, which is usually sometime between November of that year and January of the following year.

Where will my book be sent? We use the permanent addresses as held by the Registrar's office for graduates of the given class, and only those students whom the Registrar informs us as having officially graduated during the specified dates will receive a book. In order for you to receive your book as quickly as possible, please make sure the address the Registrars office has on file for you is correct before the beginning of the fall semester following your graduation.

What qualifies me as a graduating senior? Students who graduate in December 2004, May 2005, or September 2005, will be given a copy of the 2005 yearbook. The same graduation cycle is how each year's copy is given out. For those who do not graduate during the specified graduations, but would like to receive a copy of the book, you may purchase a copy for $25. If you have further questions or need further clarification, please don't hesitate to call our office, or email us at TheGraniteYearbook@hotmail.com

I ‘walked’ at graduation in May, why haven’t I received my book? A student may ‘walk’ at graduation in May, but not academically graduate until the following fall or winter. Please check with the Registrar to confirm when you officially graduated (December, May, or September) and review the distribution cycle outlined above before you contact us to inquire as to why you have not received your yearbook.

How much does the book cost you? Absolutely Nothing! Over the past 4 years that you have been an undergraduate at UNH, you have been putting money towards the purchase of a yearbook by paying your Student Activity Fee. We use that money and revenues we earn from various sources, to pay for the book and ship it to you.

What does all of this mean? You've already bought your yearbook. One will automatically be sent to your permanent address. Why not take the time to have your senior portrait taken and be featured in the yearbook with the rest of your graduating class?

How do you get to be in the yearbook? Click on Portrait Photographer. This takes you to the website of our professional portrait photographer for the year, McGrath Studios, Inc.
